Hurdu Etymology
Qadeem Angrezi 'hell' ya 'hel' se aaya hai, jo Proto-Germanic '*haljō*' (posheeda jagah, zereen dunya) se nikla hai. Iski jarr Proto-Indo-European '*kel-*' (dhakna, posheeda karna) hai. Yeh Qadeem Norse ke lafz 'Hel' (zereen dunya ki devi, aur zereen dunya khud) se mutaliq hai.
